Express Deposit allows the commercial accountholder to make check deposits without ever having to leave the office. It’s a web-based application that processes a company’s check deposit using a small desktop scanner located right at the business office. The device captures images of the checks, then through an automated decision making process determines eligibility, and either converts and processes eligible items electronically (via ARC) and or via a check image (Check 21 IRD). The electronic file is automatically transmitted and the deposit is received at Monument Bank without a company employee ever leaving the office.
