Community News
Community service is at the foundation of our mission. We have been fortunate to have the resources to donate money to worthy causes in our community. But just as important, the staff of Monument Bank has donated hundreds of volunteer hours to support some of the non-profits that make Montgomery County a better place to live for all our residents. To name just a few, our recent community support has benefited the following:
Rebuilding Together - Montgomery County (www.rebuildingtogethermc.org), the Christ Child Society (christchilddc.org), the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad (www.bccrs.org), Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Walk (www.avonwalk.org), CSAAC (Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children-www.csaac.org), Bethesda Big Train, the Combat Soldier’s Recovery Fund and the Victory Fund. We have also been the Event Sponsor since 2005 for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic (www.bcccc.org) and have had our employees turn out in large numbers to volunteer for the annual Taste of Bethesda and Dodgeball for Diabetes.
